Decadence, drama and delight – Bach’s Coffee Cantata as you’ve never seen it before!
Fully costumed, this colourfully staged show presents Bach’s comic cantata depicting the rise of the coffee house in 18th-century Germany, re-imagined by Australian set and costume designer Elizabeth Gadsby.
A wonderfully immersive performance complete with sculptures, coffee and cake!

The Little Baroque Company is a dynamic London-based ensemble specialising in 17th & 18th century music and collaborative arts projects. The LBC performs on period instruments complete with gut strings, and are fast proving a creative and innovative force in the classical world and beyond. They have toured France, Spain, Scotland, Ireland, England and Australia: performing at the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Recital Centre.
The LBC is a regular fixture at the London Handel Festival and the Brighton Early Music Festival and has performed live on BBC Radio 3 and had their television debut on BBC last year.
